The production of shea butter from the nuts of the shea nut trees has a long tradition in Africa.
The unique properties of Shea Nilotica Butter
The East African Shea Butter is obtained from the Shea fruits of the subspecies Nilotica. These grow only in South Sudan and Uganda.
It has significantly more unsaturated oleic acids and is therefore soft in consistency, spreadable and penetrates quickly into the skin.
It has a light, fresh odor even in its raw state and therefore does not need to be refined.
Vegan production
The production of YIMUKA shea butter is carried out in a cold pressing process, so that the butter is not exposed to high temperatures. Valuable ingredients and vitamins are preserved and can thus fully develop their effect.
We do not use any additives at all. YIMUKA is therefore a vegan product. The nuts are hand-picked and come from an organic cultivation.
