The tropical vegetation of Uganda’s high plateaus offers our bees an abundance of flowers.
These include banana, shea, mango, avocado, and eucalyptus trees, as well as coffee, peanut and many other plants.
This gives our honey its exotic and unique flavor.
Can bees help people?
Yes!
The bees give our beekeepers a real perspective. We pay our beekeepers 70% above the FairTrade standard. This means that 2 glasses of honey sold are enough to feed a beekeeper and his family for one day.
Climate protection despite transport route?
Through trees!
The beehives are hung in the trees for protection from insects and predators. At the same time, the tree flowers provide most of the nectar. Our beekeepers know this and therefore plant new trees themselves.
This binds a multiple of CO2 compared to transport.
Our beekeepers
Transparency. Fairness. Quality.
Our honey is a pure natural product. We make sure that nothing is added. Via a QR code you can find out from which beekeeper the honey comes.
We control the entire production process from the beekeeper in Uganda to the delivery to the retailer in Europe and ensure compliance with our high quality standards.
We conserve resources. For us, this means that our honey is filled in reusable glasses, which can easily be returned via the retailer.
