We are happy to announce that already 200 small entrepreneurs in Uganda are part of our loan program!
Thanks to the close cooperation with 11 local NGOs, these entrepreneurs have already generated more than € 200,000 of additional income.
This is an important step on our way to create a total of 1,000 new jobs in Uganda.
At YIMUKA, we like to compare the loans to a ferry:
The ferry takes entrepreneurs across a big river.
The entrepreneurs get across small rivers without financial help.
The repayment ensures that the ferry can go back to the starting point so that the next entrepreneur can use the ferry.
Just the repayment process is challenging for all but also so necessary for as many as possible to get across the big river or to more income.
