Character First Initiative Uganda (CFIU), based in Kalungu District, is a non-profit organisation founded in 2017 by a team of young people from Kalungu District in Uganda who wanted to take their future into their own hands and actively face the challenges in their community working exclusively on a voluntary basis.
Overview
A youth founded and led initiative established to carry out activities that improve the livelihoods of communities and ensuring aggregate sustainability. Our focus is empowering communities through various programs and activities for socio – economic transformation for a better life in accordance with the UN 2016 Sustainable Development Goals.

To create a world where every person is able to impact and contribute to each other’s livelihood all backed with aggregate sustainability.

To empower communities with knowledge, practical skills and information needed to live meaningful, healthy and productive lives through building character and competence needed for success.
