This women’s group, with over 80 members, has taken up the production of laundry soap for household and commercial use in an effort to eradicate poverty and provide sustainable livelihoods for its members.
With market prices skyrocketing, their products have helped ensure that every household can afford soap, which is critical for family hygiene and sanitation.
The Yimuka loan will allow the women’s group to invest in a modern machine to produce the soap.
